Orbs and Fairies and Cyber-Resilience
Vanished fairy posts and a strange hiatus: an alien force hacked in and deleted some of my blog posts, including the recent tales of fairy hunting, also blocking any comments on those posts. Among the items sent in while I was fending off the now-defeated invasion is this photo from Lynne Wogan. She shot this picture of a fairy drawing and it turned up with one reflection of her flash and two other lights that she couldn't explain.
Other comments that never showed up here include one from Mamie Potter about finding orbs on several of her photos, each one having some slightly spooky element to the subject matter. Allan, a visitor from Twitter, reported a golf-ball sized orb coming out of a patch of woods at twilight and then floating around him for about five minutes before returning to the woods. Also of note: when fairy/druid posts here showed up on my Facebook page, I immediately lost a couple of Friends. Oh, well.
BTW, I think it takes a fair amount of boldness to float and swim through cyberspace as we do. Or deal with electronics at all. All of this reminds me of the time when I shot pictures of a voodoo ceremony in New Orleans and when I looked at the contact sheet, those shots were blasted out totally grey-white, while the exposures were fine on either side. I'm sure there are tedious explanations for all of this, but I like to think that there are others as well.

Glad you are geting some exposure for my photo…I took at least 30 photos that day at the museum in Southport and this one of the fairy is the only one that had these orbs…would love a little feedback about it.
I’ve never shot a photo that had these, Lynne. Have you shown it to anyone with any experience along these lines?
No. I did ask our friend Tam for her feedback as a professional photographer, but must have lost her on facebook scroll somewhere. She can really see it well her on your blog. Will ask her again.
Tam’s more photography-minded than orb-minded, I think, Lynne.
Glad you have gotten things sorted out! I love the orb stories!
Thanks, Billie. A cyberwobble is worse than car trouble. Messes with one’s very identity.
I shot some fotos in my old art/yoga studio a few years ago. One had a distinct orb beneath a chair. My then-spirit-guide, Ava Gardner, claimed it was her. At that time, I was also in contact with a woman who was a ghost chaser. She showed me several photos of a cemetery with numerous orbs in mid-air. My other spirit guide, Marilyn Monroe, says, yes, these are ghosts. I have no experience with fairies, but have encountered numerous departed souls as a Shaman, and have transported many to the beyond, both up and down. On one occasion, over Thanksgiving weekend in about 2002, I took 283 Cowlitz Indians up. They had been released from a vortex in a new age shop where I gave workshops, and were milling around a coffee shop in downtown Edmonds, Wa, knocking paintings off the walls.
Love Dagaji
Wow, there’s a startling element to every sentence of your comment, Dagaji. Very interesting. In what form was Ava’s message to you about the orb?
C'mon ! Faries ? orbs ?! use Occam's razor & come back to earth — i spose u must include yr airey-fairy fans too , so i'll just say i love yr fiction when it's labeled fiction .aiki the realist
I’m more interested in “the razor’s edge,” Aiki, than in Occam’s version.

I’m glad you like my fiction.
i guess creating a life & constantly updating the imagined info / feelings means we all do fiction.
Keep yr tools & razors sharp , a la Steven Covey.
aiki
I’m working on that, aiki.
