A 20-Page Experiment
My first and so-far-only venture into self-publishing. A 20-page Kindle item: At Sea with My Writing: A Novelist Cruises to Book Deals priced at 99 cents. The title alone ought to qualify this action as bold.
The booklet/litbit/cybersingle or whatever this new form is called is made up of two articles, each one the story of an Atlantic crossing I made that had an uncanny effect on my writing and my book sales. It has become clear to me that if I get into any kind of book trouble, I need only go to sea on the Queen Mary 2 or the QE2 to solve the problem.

Glad to see this. Exciting to be alive in the Kindle age.
Definitely exciting…and baffling, agitating, et alia.
Peggy, just zapped this to my Kindle. Can't wait to read!
Thanks, Mary. I’ll be interested to hear what you think.
Peggy, Long time no see…we worked together about 20 years ago on a script for a etiquette video for M. Stewart. Looks like you have been staying busy. Even though my day job is as a software executive, I have been doing a weekly feature on the radio that sort of combines science and humor. (I'm up to 200 episodes). Was doing with Kitty Kinnin in Raleigh, now it on in Wilmington. Meanwhile, I have written a little novella that I would like some professional help on an I noticed you seen to offer a service like that. What I need is some unvarnished opinion about the direction and other recommendations. Is that something you could do for me…and how much would it cost to do the first step…which is read it and comment? Best, Chip Venters 919-271-3937 [email protected]
Thanks, Chip. I’m answering by email.
