How Did You Regain Your Love of Life?
Gregg Levoy, author of the terrifically useful book, Callings: Finding and Following an Authentic Life, is looking for people to interview for his latest project.
He would like to hear from those who have "compelling and dramatic stories about coming back to life. Reclaiming your passion and lifeforce, your sense of aliveness, after losing it in some way. I want to know how you did it. How you lost your vitality and how you got it back.
He adds: "I'm looking for stories in several different arenas:
* Intimacy and Relationship
* Expressiveness and Creativity
* The sense of Wonder
* The spirit of Adventure
* Personal Power
* Pleasure and the Body
(Unless it's an exceptional story, I'm steering clear of passion as it relates to Career, as I already addressed that at length in Callings.)
If you or someone you know has a dynamic and specific story of reclaiming vitality and passion—discovering it for the first time or rediscovering it after a deep sleep—send me a short paragraph describing it, and an email address to contact.
Please know that I greatly appreciate your help, and that I won't be able to respond to each submission."

Strong subject — i'll work @ deciding if i've ever lost it. Aiki
Seems to me i've never suffered a severe loss of these things in my adult life — just the usual divorces, disappointments & depressions– necessary & un-avoidable signs of life, not catastrophic.
But wait a minute ! Do you think being molested by my Dad, & my decades-long path to comfort, contentment, & success in my strongly-interpersonal field might qualify ?
Maybe he Would be interested in talking to me. Aiki
Sounds like a strong story to me. I’d do it. I expect it would be most effective if you can say very specifically what you did that made the difference.
A LOTTA THINGS- I CAN BE SPECIFIC RE A LOTTA THINGS –IT WAS NOT JUST 1 OR A FEW THINGS, IT WQAS A LOTTA things. I'll consider @ length. Aiki
